Disneyland Paris
Festival Electroland

Description
As part of the creation of a video mapping for the Electroland festival, organized at Disneyland Paris, I worked on the tribal stylization of the iconic characters Timon and Pumbaa. This project involved reinterpreting these characters through a tribal graphic aesthetic, blending their familiar essence with a contemporary and dynamic design suited to the atmosphere of a music festival. The main objective was to transform the characters into captivating visual elements that could seamlessly integrate into a video animation projected onto an attraction. After conceptualizing their new silhouettes and patterns based on modern tribal references, I created a vectorized version of these designs. This step ensured technical flexibility and the high visual quality required for the complex animations of the mapping. These illustrations served as the foundation for the animation, adding a vibrant and energetic dimension to the festival’s visual experience. The mapping immersed spectators in a dynamic universe where music and imagery intertwined to create an immersive and festive experience. This project allowed me to work at the intersection of graphic design and digital arts while meeting the narrative and aesthetic requirements specific to the Disney universe.

"For the Electroland festival, organized by Disneyland Paris at Walt Disney Studios, we collaborated with Marie on the mapping for the 'Tower of Terror,' planned for the event’s grand finale. Marie did an outstanding job adapting and animating Timon and Pumbaa, delivering remarkable results with great professionalism."
